Amy here is showing classic signs of narrowboatitis.

You kinda find yourself sitting outside although it is really cold just watching the world slowly dfirt by. Its really quite hypnotic

An M25 pile up

on the water that is

sunny

It is a common misconception that canals are quite deep. They arent. Sometimes they are barely a meter deep, occasionally even shallower. Because the water doesnt run fast, its very easy for silt to build up, so then need almost constant dredging and maintanance. We will come onto that later.

But what I would like to present to you now, is kthe problem of kshallow water and narrowboats, all in one space.
It only takes one to get stuck as its tring to pass another to cause all manner of problems. For it is impossible to stop quickly if at all, and turning around is a big no no, you have to find a lwinding hole to do that.

So, i give you a narrowboat pile ,up!
